Lordgate is the first to install the massive 10kWh battery and 10kW inverter with dual Charge Controller of 11000W for residential distributed energy resources (DER). The project happened in Lagos, on November 30, 2024.
Lordgate is a partner to Ktechsolar, which is a Chinese giant in solar equipment manufacturing for residential systems. The reliability on Lordgate Projects stems from the fact that we are experienced developers, installers and have keen eyes in equipment selection process. To close the gap, we have good partnerships with various vendors, especially Ktech.
This project is important to us, because it’s a window to more project across Nigeria, using high performing Ktech products. In fact, at the time of this report, we have clear 8 new project sites of this capacity. The reliability of renewable energy electricity lies squarely on distributed system, which enhances redundancy. No project is too small for Lordgate Projects.
So, we are so proud of the Project Owner, who trusted us to deliver this relatively big capacity project for a residential building. We met all their expectations. The inverter (10kW) has the capability of 6units in parallel and 30units (10kWh) of battery in parallel, which takes any household out off utility grid with massive savings.
There are energy billing bands in Nigeria, with varying cost per kWh. The least is probably ₦52 per kWh, before the recent hike in price. But our project in delivering energy at ₦23/kWh.
How about that??
