It has been 5yrs since La Viva Homes and Lordgate Projects have been collaborators. Since then, it has been a long success story in their respective business portfolios.

Lordgate Projects is in the business of providing reliable and affordable electric energy to La Viva Homes buildings, which enhances the quality of their real estate. Wherever La Viva steps in to develop a real estate, Lordgate follows with value added services.

In one of La Viva Homes rea estate, the electrical energy solutions are configured in a distributed energy resource (DER) pattern, whereby each building has a specific capacity of solar energy system designed to meet the needs of the home owners. However, each of the systems was designed to offset energy reliance on national grid at 100% and at 24hours availability. This means total disconnect from the utility grid and 100% savings from fuels such as diesel and petrol users.

Lordgate Projects, all our projects start with customer-end energy survey (load profiles) in order to collect data for design, cable and circuit breakers sizing. Lordgate Projects partners with Ktech Solar, Felicity and seriously considering Tanfon for equipment deployment. Besides residential projects, our projects include commercial and industrial customers, for off/on-grid, metered system,

At Lordgate Projects, we carefully our products based on efficiencies of inverters, charge controllers and solar modules. We also take into consideration the depth of discharge of batteries, the lifecycles.

It is important that most of the energy projects at La Viva Homes at levelized cost of energy (LCoE) ₦21/kWh as against the utility energy cost at ₦60/kWh or more in some energy bands. Lordgate is involved in project capital, if loan is needed to complete a project. The return on investment has never been less that 75% at any design and calculation. And payback time has been around 3-4yrs for a solar plant of lifecycle between 20 to 25yrs.

For Lordgate Projects, it is just important that La Viva Homes continue to stay in business throughout Nigeria. We continue to hope that renewable energy legislations continue to improve in Nigeria.

Lordgate Projects is open for collaborative partnerships with local and international investors in renewable energy development.
